Dr. Letha Quashie PhD, MD, MA, MHA is an energetic, self-motivated, highly qualified, talented, and astute leader who gets result. Dr. Letha Quashie aspires to be a change agent as it relates to patient care. Pedro Fonte is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Algarve, Portugal. He is also an integrated member at Center of Marine Sciences (CCMAR), University of Algarve, Portugal and collaborator researcher at the Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal. He graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2010 and obtained his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences – Nanotechnologies specialty at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto, Portugal in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2016. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration ( MBA) at the Faculty of Economics and Business Management, Lusíada University, Portugal in 2012. His area of ​​scientific activity is on the development of new drug delivery systems by means of colloidal carriers, structural characterization of proteins entrapped into micro- and nanocarriers, lyophilization of biopharmaceuticals, targeted and controlled delivery of drugs across biological barriers, solid state characterization of pharmaceuticals and drying of pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals. He is also conducting research in the regenerative medicine field, focusing on wound healing, tissue regeneration and cell therapy. In his activity he is enrolled in the up-scale of pharmaceutical products and is involved in entrepreneurship activities.

Olabisi M. Oluseye is a Lecturer in the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Olabisi is registered by Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) as a nurse, midwife and nurse educator. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing Science program and Master of Science program at the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Olabisi is a Community Health Nurse specialist and her previous experience during community postings as a student nurse at Seventh Day Adventist School of Nursing, was the basis for her interest in community health nursing specialty. She developed an interest in promoting wellness and preventing illnesses and various complications that accompany illnesses during those postings. Her research focus is on child’s health, maternal health and family health. Olabisi interests lie in the area of under-five children infectious/communicable diseases and various health promotion programs. She has collaborated actively with her colleagues, students and mentors in publishing several research articles. Olabisi work experience began with the Health Service Commission, Lagos State, as a nursing officer at Lagos State Government Hospital, Ifako-Ijaiye. Though her work experience here was brief, however, she actively participated in various nursing and some administrative tasks such as monitoring and prioritizing pregnant women in the emergency unit according to the severity of their illnesses, monitoring acutely sick children, administering care to pregnant mothers and sick children, supervising allied health staff, documenting and reporting nursing care and presenting papers at various continuing education programs/seminars. In 2010, Olabisi was gainfully employed as a nurse educator at the School of Nursing Ilaro, Ogun state, she actively taught students, coordinated Primary health care class work and community posting, coordinated examination, research and seminar activities and supervised students' research studies all through her 13 years of service. She has served as both national and local examiner in the NMCN final qualifying examination. Olabisi desire for research and to impact her community, led her to pursue an appointment in the university system. Since her appointment in February 2023, Olabisi has been assigned several responsibilities such as lecturing, invigilating, co-coordination of examinations, and co-coordination of welfare activities. She is a member of Sigma Alpha Beta Gamma Chapter and a facilitator for Pan-African Network for Rapid, Response and Preparedness for Infectious Disease Epidemics ISTH IRUA Edo State Nigeria. Olabisi enjoyed reading and studying, caring and training children, and being with her family and friends. She is ready to mentor, learn and collaborate with others in research. Mr Bargude Balta first graduated for Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wolaita sodo university of 2011; then received his MSc in Gender and Family science from Hawassa University in 2019; then MSC in clinical oncology nursing from Addis Ababa university 2021 and MPH in General public health from Pharma college 2023. He has been serving at Hawassa university college of health sciences, for the last 10 years in different capacities: providing clinical services, providing training for health professionals, teaching students; research and publication; winning and leading collaborative research projects with college and hospital of Hawassa University; engaging in several community services including training and consultancy; cancer screening and serving at different leadership positions in the college. He is also a member of two Professional Associations: Ethiopian nursing association, & Cancare cancer association. My current research interests stem from my desire to understand fundamental aspects of cancer biology. These fundamental aspects include the survival and predictors of cancer. I study these aspects using retrospective, prospective, clinical trials and other tools. These tools allow us to understand broader themes such as epidemiology, treatment aspects and tumor types. As an Oncology nurse specialist and public health professional, my focus is on process-oriented cancer biology in treatment benefits. My most recent research focuses on understanding the Survival and predictors, perception of HPV, breast cancer advocacy and KAP on pulmonary TB in Ethiopia. I am also conducting studies of cancer related depression, maternal health etc.
